Here in Niger, as we have reaffirmed within OAU and OCA, we always condemn assassination as a means of attaining political ends. It is a great pity after his brother John Kennedy should now ends. He was a great ally after his father John Kennedy's impeachment. He should now their acts. For these poor fellows imagine that by killing man one kills an idea. The idea started by the Kennedy towards national reconciliation in the United States and toward equality and justice - this idea will progress against wind and tide. I salute the bereaved family and it is for this reason that in the name of the Government a telegraph has been sent to the Kennedy family and to the President of the United states of America.
