Kennedy XmB Air REF ARmy cia NavY "During the week of June 5, residents of Milan mourned the death of O#d Usi4 NSA Senator Robert Kennedy with religious and commemorative services and expressed their condolence in numerous letters, telegrams and phone calls to USIS and the Consulate General._ In addition, well over 2000 visitors Signed the Consulate General' s book of condolence. These signatures are attached as enclosure No. 1 to this airgram: Immediately following the death, masses were celebrated at the Church of San Vito in Pasquirolo and the Church of San Gioachino in honor of Senator Kennedy and a memorial service was held at the Anglican Church of All Saints on June 8. The Associazione Giovanile Cattolica Milanese 8 celebrated a special mass on the evening of June 11 at the Church of SS Trinita' under the auspices of Cardinal Colombo. On June 12, the 3 International School of Milan also held a commemorative program.
