John Pahey, a salesman at Cal Tek Industries, was investigated by the FBI for his alibi on the day of the assassination. He claimed to have been followed by a dark blue Volkswagen and later retracted this statement. His employment history showed that he had only a fair job and had challenged other salesmen. The INS searched their records and found no record of a person named MARLO MONOZ, but did find a record of a person with the same name being apprehended and deported on June 17, 1968.

Suleman Akdel Hamid Khattab was searched by SA James W. Normert, Jr. on June 17, 1968, and was found to have been working as a volunteer at Senator Robert F. Kennedy's campaign headquarters shortly before the assassination. He had also traveled to Egypt in 1967 and had worked at The Institute of Modern Languages.

John Lawrence's FBI record showed multiple arrests and convictions for various crimes, including assault, robbery, and vagrancy. Louise Stapleton, Betsy Mitchell, Ruth Quarranta, and Emma Christopher all recalled Suleman Khatatb as a volunteer worker at Senator Kennedy's campaign headquarters.

The INS reported apprehending illegal entrants from Mexico at approximately 125 per day, but their files were usually a month behind in being filed. A search of the INS records was conducted, and it was determined that there were no records of a person named MARLO MONOZ, however, a search of the INS files revealed that a person named MARLO MONOZ had been apprehended and deported on June 17, 1968.
