Sirhan Bishara Sirhan was identified as the assassin of Senator Robert F. Kennedy on June 4, 1968, at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Prior to the assassination, Sirhan practiced shooting at the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club in Duarte, California.

A photograph of the original sign-in roster from the gun club matched Sirhan's handwriting specimen card K-14. Approximately 40 pounds of shell casings were obtained from the gun club, but no significant markings were found to determine their source.

The LAPD Property Report described a pair of men's gray trousers worn by Ira Goldstein at the time of the shooting. An anonymous communication on an envelope with a hand-printed message signed by "The Gangs" was received and forwarded to the FBI Laboratory for examination.

Harry Sullivan, owner of the gun shop where Sirhan purchased the revolver used in the assassination, and employee Edward Peltz were identified.
