KOCH, Hamilton Jewelers, 984 Market Street, advised that he had formerly done business as Fields Jewelers. and recalls JOHN FAHEY, a jewelry salesman, as being a good worker but at times appeared to be mentally deranged. FAHEy imagined his co- workers, as well as superiors, were conspiring against him and workers, and as well to be concerned, while he would become violent. FAHEY would provoke his high-income and then sometimes assault them. Further, he had assaulted customers. After being fired, FAHEV would walk by the store and sometimes glare in at the employees and point his finger at them, then walk around the block, return and do the same thing. Other times, FAHEV could walk by and be friendly, talk to the employees, and then go about his business. KOCH stated that he believed FAHEF had been confined because of these mental abberations but could not furnish the name or loca- tion of any hospital or institution. FAHEy had been married, divorced, and by this marriage had twochildren. He has the names of the children or his former wife were not known. He had remarried but the name of his current wife was not known either. KOCH advised that FAHEI had worked for him on three occasions during the 1960-63 period.
