</s>PD-302 (Rev. 4-15-64) FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION Date 6/25/68 Mr. JACK WINTERNS, residing at 1322 Atlantic Drive, Compton, California, and employed as a security salesman for Investors, Diversified Services, 4220 Long Beach Boulevard, Compton was contacted at his residence, 4230 Long Beach Boulevard, was advised of the nature of his inquiry by SA WILLIAM D. HOSKINS. The advised as follows: On the night of June 1, 1968, he, LLOYD B. WILKINS, and ENNIS WHALLEY, went to the Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles, arriving around 10:00 p.m. to attend the Senator ROBERT P. KENNEDY around 10.00 p ., to attend his senator ROBERT F. to the victory celebration. He said his group went directly but were unable to get in as the hotel, security scheduled not admit anyone without a press pass. He Said they proceed directly to the Ambassador Ballroom where they remained for the entire evening watching the proceeding on television monitors. He recalled his first knowledge of KENNEDYS being shot was when someone came into the room and said to switch the monitor to channel 2 as KENNEOY had been shot. He saw he remained in the Ambassador Ballroom as there were so many excited people running around he felt it was wiser to remain where he was rather than try to go to the scene of the shooting. He said he had seen numerous pictures of SIRHAN SIRHIAN in the papers and on the television but does not recall seeing him during his stay at the Ambassador Hotel.
