**SIRHAN SIRHAN'S MEMBERSHIP IN AMORC**

Mrs. Frances Holland, Southern California Grand Counsellor of the Rosicrucian Order, advised that Sirhan Sirhan is a member of the Supreme Grand Lodge in San Jose, with membership obtained by mail and not through attendance at meetings. His file was reviewed by the FBI, which found he had submitted his lessons by mail and maintained a complete file of correspondence with all members.

**JOSE DUARTE'S ALLEGATIONS**

Jose Duarte, a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and later a major in the Cuban Rebel Army under Fidel Castro, advised that on May 21, he attended a meeting at 800 Amesbury, Hollywood, California, where a peace group was going to meet. He noted photographs of Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Fidel Castro on the walls.

**CUBAN REPRESENTATION IN EXILE (CREED)**

The Cuban Representation in Exile (CREED) is an anti-Castro organization consisting of Cuban exiles and maintains its headquarters at 1744 West Flagler, Miami. They have branches in some major cities in the United States.

**INVESTIGATION INTO SIRHAN'S MEMBERSHIP**

Los Angeles will contact all informants and sources present or with knowledge of the meeting by Jose Duarte to verify allegations made by Duarte. The purpose is to establish in detail which he attempted to strike Duarte and the specific comments which were made, described as critical of U.S. government and pro-Cuba.

**INVESTIGATION INTO MEETING**

Los Angeles will also initiate an investigation to identify other individuals in attendance at the meeting and interview to resolve whether facts furnished are accurate and complete, and whether Arab present was definitely Sirhan B. Sirhan.

**CESAR CHAVEZ'S SCHEDULE**

Cesar Chavez will be at UFWOC at Los Angeles this afternoon and in Indio, California, this evening. Larry Italong, Assistant Director, United Farm Workers Organizing Committee, Delano, California, advised that Chavez would be at Travelodge Motel, Indio, this evening and would depart.

**SIRHAN'S VISIT TO LOS ANGELES**

Sirhan entered the date "Seven Seven" on the visitor sign-in sheet to Los Angeles via air mail. Two copies were sent to Bureau via air mail.
