to June 1968. He said he flew to Log Agelee the afternoon
of June 4 1968 and Joined Senator KENNEDY at his sulte on the
fifth floor Of the Ambassador Hotel, along wIth about thirty
other 6 upporters He sa1d during the early_evening he we5
in the maln ballroom of the hotel with KENNEDY , supporters
and he noted nothing unugual and he had no reagon to be
suspiclous of any person In the ballroom_ He wab unable to

there in twenty minutes According to BRADEN, earlier that

activities In the San Diego areb advised 28 follows :

members , telephonLcally contacted four Minutemen members In
the San Diego area on June 19, 1968, and stated, 11 If you hear
anything about me or read anything, don t worry . Wnat I am
ti about to do I am going to do for God and country,
Source advised that MIKE VEJVODA belongs to an
It organization named "Staff and travels frequently between
San Dlego and Los Angeles _ According to source, "Staff" is
an orgenization SImilar In 1ts a1ms a8 the Minutemen.
Sergeant JOHN KENNEDY, San Diego Police Department
(SDPD) , advised that MICHAEL VEJVODA was detained by the
SDPD on June 19, 1968,

and 8 search of hfs residence located
a -rifle and several cherry bombs wrapped in plastic material
With thunb tacks or similar devices embedded in plastic
material, making the cherry bombs extremely dangerous to
personnel_ Above information furnlshed by Sergeant KENNEDY
on June 19, 1968.
On June 20, 1968, Sergeant JOENN KENNEDY, SDPD ,
advtsed a8 follows :
Approximately one week ag0, Dleutenant JACK COCHRAN ,
Intelligence Divlsion, SDPD, received 8 telephone call from
the Intelligence Division, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD),
requesting investigation by the SDPD to locate MIKE VEJVODA ,
allegedly residing in the San Diego-area_ Upon location, the
LAPD desired to be notlfted 80 that thev could send LAPD
officers to San Diego to participate in the interview of
VEJVODA _

used the neme of ACKZRMIAN _ He stated he bought the Ruger in Phoeniz, Arizona about the first
of this year for $45.00 and used the name of PARTELOW . He indicated that he has used other
phont nanes for some of his activities but stated he could not remember what the other names
Tere at this time. He stated that he sold the 22 Ruger to an unkorm person at 8 gun show in
Long Beach within the last few kieeks _ He also stated that he never belonged to the Nazi Party
