an Individual who identified himself as DrLGERALD_JAN /SCHIPPER ,
who resides on a farm in Urbana Maryland (Frederick gounty)
1 telephone 301;874-2421. Dr SCHIPPER said he is 2 retired
dermatologist He is a native of the Netherlands and has been
2 naturalized American citizen since 1949. He advised a8
follows:
During the evening of 6/6/68 he observed on television
a
picture of the owner of the Organic Health Store, Pasadena
where SIRHAN SIRHAN is alleged to have worked at one time The
Owner of the store was identifiedcon television a8 one JOHN H
D"' NEIDNER,Jr Dr _ SCHTPPER immediately recognized WEIDNER a5
an individua1 he knew as JEAN A WETDNER Jr . during World
War II_ WEIDNER in 1943 operafed a
cioting
store in Annecy
Haute Savoy France_ This clothing store was a clearing house
for members of the Dutch underground and other spies who
desired to go to Switzerland_
Dr SCHIPPER was a civllian active In the Dutch under -
ground_ Dr SCHIPPER was jailed in Annecy France during the
War _ WETDNER contacted SCHIPPER then and facflitated SCHIPPER S
escape _ It 1s Dr SCHTPPER 5 understanding that WEIDNER was
decorated by the Queen of Holland for his service to that
country.
Dr _ SCHIPPER was aware that many operatives in the under -
ground during the War like WEIDNER were communists_ Dr _ SCHIPPER
never had any Information that WEIDNER was 8 communist , however .
Dr SCHIPPER last saw WE IDNER in 1944 or 1945 when
