that he hated the KENNEDYs and felt that they should a11 be
killed RITTENHOUSE had no other details concerning MEGOWN
Mr RICHARD MEGOWN 4873 West 142nd Street , Hawthorne ,
ii Ca lifornia , advised that he formerly 'hung around the Tom
Haynes Chevron Station in the 6590 block of Manchester
Boulevard in Loe Angeles_ He said tha t he did not care for
the KENNEDY family and had made many statements against the
KENNEDYs but had never stated that he would kill one of the
KENNEDYs He adviged that he had never even seen any of the
KENNEDYs and did not know SIRHAN SIRHAN _ He stated that he
would be careful of any statenents tha t he would make in
the future

He 1s the ovner of Big Brother Cleaning &nd from
Miarch until June of 1568, his company handled the cleaning &t
the Kennedy Headquerters , 5615 Wiishire Boulevard, Los Angeles ,
California
During the time that he was taking cale of the
cleaning of the headquarters , he went each day with us uelly
a two-or thre?-man crew to the headquarters and spent about
two hours cleaning the building. His enplovees in the first
of June were STEVE VILLAIRE and EDWA RD SPELLS _ ROWLAND
advised that both VILLAIRE and SPELLS reside at 6326 Lexington
Street , Los Angeles _
ROWLAND explained that he usually went %0 the headquarters
between 5:00 and 6;00 AM 80 that the cleening could be done
before the regular volunteers arrived a & the building. Un most
Of' these occasions he had access to the Various papers and files
which were in the headquarters

he was employed as a labozer JOHN
ROWLAND , onner of Brother Cleaning, to help clean the
Kennedy Canpaign Headquarters located at Wilshire Boulevard,
Los Angeles Each morning at about 5:00 AM he would 30 ,
along with JOHN ROWLAND and STEVE VILLAIRE , to the headquarters ,
where would spenc about two hours cleaning the building
Thej usually left the headquarters before any of the_regular
volunteers arrived_ Hovever, onl a few occasions he did observe
an unknown female and somle unknown males a t the various desks
working.
He further advised he recalls meeting a ian by the
nane of LARRY at the end of' who arrived at the headquartere
43 ually aroud 7 :00 AM. He specificallz recaLls this man
because he was the only one who regularly arrived before they
had finished cleaning the building. On a few occasions he had
conversations with this man but he does not recall spec ifically

playing a musical instrument
Mrs SAYEGH stated she wished she had known SIRHAN , as
she was sure anyone who was closely acquainted with Jordanian
Arabs as a group, would never have been involved in shooting a
political figure, particularly not Senator KENNEDY_ She stated
most Arabs both in the United States and in the Middle East , bad
a warm fee

Organization for Medical and Educational Relief , which is the
only tax-exempt cbaritable organization for the benefit of Arabs
in the Middle East She stated neither she nor her husband had
ever met SIRHAN through this organization, or otherwise
Mrs SAYEGH believed the name of the man who used to head the
Organization of Arab Students or at least an organization
for Arab students , was one MUSA SABA She did not know him,
or where he might be located , and knew nothing conc erning the
group .

of California at Los Angeles UCLA ) , was contacted at his
residence 371 2oth Street , Santa Monica

and he furnished
the following information:
On the night of 24, 1968 , he and his wife,
MARGARET , attended a ra for Senator ROBERT F. KENNEDY
at the Sports Arena Los les . Thie ra ended around
10:30 p.m. anc SHEEHA N and his wife made their way out of
the Arena to a position where they could a look at
Senator KENNEDY ag he wa $ leaving the Arena SHEEHAN wa s
wa iting about a half hour for Senator KE NNEDY and a large
crowd, in excess of 200 people , had also gathered to wa it
for the Senator.
About that t ime SHEEHAN noticed that the man who
had moved in front of him wa: com pletely out of character in
the crowd This man appea red very intense and sinister, and
did not pa rticipate at all in the carniva 1 atmosphe re that
pervaded the crowd_ This man appeared to SHEEHAN to be alone ,
ina smuch a8 he did not talk with anyone in the crowd and
after two or three minutes he moved away and wa 5 lost by
SHEEHAN in the C rowd _ However, as this man moved away , SHEEHAN
remarked to hig wife as to the sinister demeanor of this man
His wife agreed SHEEHA N reiterated that he lost this Individua 1
in the crowd and did not see him aga in that evening.
Two days after the agsass ination of Senator KENNEDY ,
SHEEHAN saw a photograph of SIRHAN SIRHAN in the Los Angeles
Times and he identified the photograph in the newspa pe r a8
be the picture of the sinigter individual who had been in
front of n im outside the Angeles Sporte Arena on 24,
1968. SHEEHA N showed this picture to his wife without any
explanatory statement: and she too , witbout prompt ing , identified
the photograph of SIRHAN SIRHA N a9 being the picture of the
man in front 0f them in the Sports Arena

SHEEHA N obse rved a photograph of SIRHAN SIRHAN
t aken by the Angeles Police Department on June 5, 1968,
and he identified the person tured as being the person
who wa 8 in front of him in the crowd outside the Sports
Arena on 24,
Approximately half an hour after SHEEHAN lost
SIRHAN SIRHAN in the c rowd , Senator KENNDY left the Sports
Arena in the company of ROOSEVELT GRTER and RAFER JOHNSON,
a nd other unknown members of the KENNEDY entourage _ While
the entourage was attempting to c lear a path to Senator
KENNEDY ' s awaiting a utomobile , which SHEEHAN obse rved wa 8
parked on Exposition Boulevard, SEEHAN noted that 8 group
of four men were conc ertedly attempt ing either

to impede
the progress of the entourage by not giving ground before
it , or were
8imply attempting to withstand the c rowd in
order to a better view of the Senator. In any event
the KENNEDY entourage wa 8 momentarily ha lted by the bottle -
neck of people before GRIER and JOHINSON moved In the direction
of' least resistance and took Senator KENNEDY to the awa it ing
a utomobile . SHEEHAN could not recal1 the four men other than
that they a11 appea red to be white Americans and to be well
dressed- SHEEHA N did not see SIRFIAN SIRHAN in the c ompany
of these men, nor does SHEEHA N have any reason to a880c iate
SIRHAN SIRHAN with these men.
SHEEHAN C ommented that he did not know any person
in the c rowd outside the Sports Arena on the night of 24,
1968 , other than his wife
SHEEHAN conc luded that on the night of June 4 , 1968 ,
he and his wife were at the Ambassador Hotel arriving there
about 8.30 p.m They spent the entire evening in the Grand
Ba llroom leaving about 11:30 pa m . and he did not 8ee SIRHAN
SIRHAN or Senator KE NNEDY that night.

identified the picture a8 being that of the 8inister looking
individual they had ob se rved in the Sports Arena crowd on

office of' the FBI Mr SWEDE said he and his wife,
CONRADINA MARIE FABREY DE JONGE SWEDE , were on a honeymoon
during the month of' and part of' the month of June 1968.
He said during this honeymoon, he and his wife visited
Europe and countries in the Middle East and Southwest Asia
On Friday , 17 , 1968 , they were on an Iraqi Airline
flight from Cairo to Tehran They landed in Baghdad: at
about 5:00 p In and they migsed the connec flight
from Baghdad to
'Tehran-
The Iraqi 4 irline made arrangements
for he and his wife to spend the night at the Ambas sador
Hotel in Baghdad He said he and his wife checked in at
the hotel shortly after they found out that they had missed
the connec ting flight At the hotel they went direc to
theix room where stayed for about an hour He said
made inquiry regarding a place to eat and found out
that the hotel had a dining room
Mr SWEDE said that he and his wife arrived at
the dining room in the hotel at about 7:10 p.m He described
the dining roon a8 being one flight above the ground floor ,
and the only dining room located in the hotel He said
that he and his wife were the only persons in the room at
the time that they arrived He estimated that the dining
room had about 35 to 40 dining tables After they were
seated at a table , a waiter came up and said, have
M1 heard KENIEDY has been shot Mr SWEDE said he assumed
the waiter was referring to JOHN F KENNEDY and said the
name JOHN F KENNEDY_ The waiter said, nis brother
