She identified the emp lvyment firms as The Peakload Company
9 3057 Wilshire Boulevard and Olsten of LJs Angeles _

ISACKSON advised that she recalled a volunteer
Worker by the name of KAIBAR KHAN , als? known as
"Goody"
and advised he was responsible for bringing in s ome 15 to
20 volunteer workers prior ta election She stated that
al1 of these workers were individuals of Middle Eastern
descent ISACKSON described Gpody as being a cordial,
mannerly person and a willing worker but who did things
which appeared to her to be S trange She explained that
Gbody insisted that all of the volunteer workers he brought
in list their addresses as 1055/,2 Wilshire Boulevard

was the address Goody listed as his Goody als3 related
conflic stories concerning his ances first indicating
that he was of Turkish descent and then stating he was
Persian_ He also clained to be a good friend f the KENNEDY
family &nd a supporter 3f Senator KENNEDY and made several
s tatenents indicating that he Inew Senator KENNEDY was going
t? win the election but , for several unexplained reasons ,
ISACKSON felt that Goody was not sincere and that he was a
phony

As a result of this information BUCKNER was contacted
SA KLING and SA CHARLES W BADGLEY at his residence in
Glendora, Califorr-a
BUCKNER advised that he had been fired from h_s job
as Range Officer for the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club 4001 Fish
Canyon Road Duarte, California on June 16, 1968 by ELOYD HAGER ,
Manager of: the gun c lub BUCKNER stated he W3s given no reason
for hie dismissal and he had no idea he was fired.
BUCKNER was agked specifically mhat additional
information he had in thig matter as 3 basis for his
telephonic contac? with the Los Angeles Office_ In response
BUCKNER stated that he actually had
no additional informat_on
and could provide no information other than what he had furnished
on previous interview
During the course of thls interview with BUCKNER,
interviewing Agents Were cognizant of the odor of alcohol on
BUCKNER 8 breath and BUCKNER ' s mannerisms were indicative
that he had in fact been drinking_

WILLIAMS advised on
June 4, 1968 he and his
Wife,_ CLAUDIA , went to the San Gabriel
Vaiiey
Gun Club ,
4001 Fish Canyon Road, Duarte California, in order to do
3ome target shooting_ WILLIAMS stated that neither he nor
his wife knew the exact route to take in order to go to the
gun range; therefore, they stopped at the Briar Patch Bar
where his wife is employed and obtained directions They
continued on towards the gun club and eventually stopped
and asked a Deputy Sheriff for further directions WILLIAMS
stated that he did not know the identity of the Deputy
Sheriff from whom they had asked directions_
WILLIAMS advised they arrived at the range at
approximately 3:50 PM and went to the Range Officeris
Building in order to make arrangements for target shooting.
He stated that the Range Officer informed them that the
range closed for firing at 5:00 PM and, a8 a result, they
would have only about one hour in which to shoot. WILLIAMS
stated that he and his wife discussed this at some length
and he said in al1 probability, this discussion could
probably be termed an argument by a bystander
He stated he had recently purchased a 30-30
caliber rifle which he intended to shoot and his wife had
received a 22 caliber pistol for Christmas during the
Jear 1966_

which she had never fired, and it was her intention
to use this gun on the range WILLIAMS stated that he
recalls his wife saying some thing to the effect that she
had had the gun for a long time and she wanted to learn how

to shoot it today . WILLIAMS advised that the Range Officer
informed them that they could not fire the tol and rifle
on the same range and that it would be necessary for his
wife to go to the pistol range and he to the rifle range_
WILLIAMS stated that he the admission fee of $2 per
person 50 cents target deposit for him and his wife
but stated he did not 8 ign a shooter 8 roster He advised
he did not sign a roster because it was his understanding
that the roster was to be signed by shooters who were
members of the gun club_
He stated that after paying the admission fee and
securing their targets , he went back to his automobile
and cleaned excess oil and grease from the weapons prior
to shooting_ He then returned to the range taking his
wife' 8 pistol to her on the pistol range and noticed the
Range Officer placing his wife' 8 target into position
WILLIAMS stated that he saw only one other individual on
the range at this time and this individual, whom he could
describe at that time as only a small and s lender individual,
was firing around gun positions 11 or 12_
WILLIAMS advised that he then proceeded to the
rifle range where he fired for approximately 30 minutes
and then returned to the tol range Upon returning to
the tol range , he noticed the individual whom he had
previously Seen on the pistol range next to his wife
WILLIAMS stated that to the best of his knowledge, his
wife was firing around gun pos itions 21 or 22 _ He stated
the individual remarked to hin that his

and the individual engaged in a short conversation concerning
itself entirely with guns
WILLIAMS stated that he would describe this
individual as being about 5'3" to 5'5" in height in his
early 20'9

on the range _ WILLIAMS advised that he could not describe
the gun other than the fact that it was a small blue gun
and that the individual was firing Mini Magnum shelle
At this point, WILLIAMS was shown a photograph
of S IRHAN SIRHAN and he stated that the photograph looked
very much like the individual whom he had seen on the range
except that his hair was nea ter than it appeared in the
photograph
WILLIAMS advised that he and his wife then left
the range at a time he estimated to be almost exactly
5:00 PM, and that at the same time, the individual also
left the range He stated that he recalled the individual
going to a pink and White Dodge or DeSoto, model unknown
WILLIAMS stated that during the time that he was
on the tol range he saw no one else on the range other
than this indi-

time during the meeting noting that he wa8 a stranger At the
time she observed himg he was talking to one of the two Colombes ,
which is Egyptian for candle lightere These Colombes have
to be girls between the ages of 12 and 18_ She cannot recall
which of the girls SIRHAN was talking to but it had to be

again during the meeting_ She stated that at that particular

to her leaving the meeting_ The meeting was from approximately
8 :00 to 9:00 p . m_ with a 45 minute social gathering afterwards
She advised that an AMORC member must show a member-
ship card to attend a meeting of any chapter_ They were al80
required, however, to 8ign the guest book. As best as she
can recall, SIRHAN was the only guest that evening- THEODORE
STEVENS , Secretary maintains the membership book and guest
book.

then to prepare refreshments but that JOE did not stay for any

asked for a volunteer for a tactile experience which she stated
is an experiment to determine if' an individ

There wa: a meeting of the AMORC at 8:00 p . m . on 28 , 1968_ and at this meeting he recalls there was a person
whom he had never seen before_ He did not see the unknown pereon
c ome to the meeting, and he does not know if the unknown pereon
was with anyone _
He checked the AMORC card of the unknown person and
verified that his dues had been paid He did not see a nane
on the card He said hello to the unknown pergon and shook
hands with hin and had no other conversation with him
IELEEN SITPWORTH took the unknown pereon into the
temple to salute the ehekina three candles ) The unknown
person would not have been allowed to do this if he was not
a member of AMORC
He did not see the unknown pers on leave the building;
however, he would not normally ha ve done 80 before 9:00 p . m. ,
when the meeting was over _
He could not des cribe the unknown person a8 to physical
features or dre8s but believes the unlcnown person was wearing a
dark suit.

where she advised the following:
She is a member of the nonsectarian fraternal
organization know as the Ancient Mystical Order
Rosae Crucis which holds its meetings at 2031 East Villa,
Pasadena, Caiifornia.
She was in a ttendance at their
weekly meeting which was held on May 28, 1968 .
She recalled there were approximately persons present
at the meeting_ Nearly ali of the people in attendance
at the meeting were regular members with the exception in
this case of one or two indlviduals She recalled one
thin young man , who was wearing a white shirt and wash
pants and who was in his Zos with bushy hair, a8 being
1 M one of the visitors at the meeting_
Mrs BRYAN was shown a photograph of SIRHAN
SIRHAN and she advised the photograph close resembled
the individual she saw there

but she could not say if the
two people are identical She wa8 introduced to this man
by someone at the meeting, but she could not recall who
that was All members and visitors are given name tags
which they wear 80 that others can eas identify them _
She coula not remember this individual 8 name but did
state she could not pronounce it after she had 8een it and
I Ii that she thought the name was similar to SIRHAN _
Mrs BRYAN , wh 0 1s the Librarian for the organi-
zation, recalled this man looking at Some of the books
which were available , but he did not 8eem to associate
with anyone at the meeting and more or less stayed by
hinself When a visitor attends a meeting, he 18 usually
introduced to the meeting room by a young girl who i8
known a8 a I} colombe" but Mrs BRYAN could not remem ber
who the young girl was at this particular meeting a8 the
girls assuming this change from week to week She
thought that the secretary of the organization, ILLEEN

advised the meetings start at 8:00 P.M_ and convocation
closes at 9:00 P.M_ or a few minutes after and therefore
this individual left around 9:00 P.MS

a coffee seesion, however he very geldom stayed for
coffee Mr RYMAN stated he

distance from this person and the light Tas such that he was
not able to see thig per son ' 8 features This pereon was seated
near the Grand Mastex TED STEVENS, and RYMAN recalls that
there was an experiment conducted by Mr STEVENS during thig
mee ting and SALLY HARDMA N and this stranger took part in the
experiment
Mr RYMAN stated he has observed the photograph of
SIRHAN BISHARA SIRHAN in newepaper publications and had not
aseociated him with the stranger , who was in attendance a% this

night at the Akhnaton Chapter

and was parking her car opposite the temple when she
observed an unknown young white male approaching the temple on foot
and enter the temple She believed he was a new member a8 she had
never seen him before and he stood out in her memory because most
of the members who attend are older adults and there are very few
young adults who attend
After parking her car, she entered the temple and went
to a dressing room to don her robe of the ritual tear and did not
see this person again until she and the ritual team entered the
lodge room for the meeting_ She then saw this man sitting on the

During the mee ting the lodge master , TED S TEVENS

asked for
volunteers to take part in an experiment and this male volunteered
to take part in the experinent Tne experiment consisted of the
subject being blindfolded and being touched with various numbers
of objects and the subject endeavoring to identify the number of
objects which were placed against various parts of his body_
Following the experiment the man took a seat on the right side
of the temple and did not return to his original seat _ She did
not observe this man again 88 she was busy taking part in the
ritualistic part of the meeting_ When the meeting was over , she
returned to the dressing room to remove her robe and when she
finished , she went to the area where the members have refreshments
following the meeting- She did not see this person with the members
having refreshments and recalls that SHERMAN LIVINGSTON AMORC Grand
Inspector inquired where the young man had gone and an unrecalled
member said the young man had already left the temple . She recalled
this was shortly after 9:00 p. m =

1968 , meeting was the only time she had ever seen SIRHAN .

before 8:00 p . m= and went to the dressing area where she
donned her robe for the lodge ceremonies She then went to a
lodge anteroom where refreshments are served and the lodge
keeps various books and documents relating to the Rosicrucian
Order When she came to thig room her grandmother Mrs
WILAMAY HARRISON told her there was a new member and offer
to aesist him at the mee ting_ LUANA then noticed the new
member who she deecribed as 3 Latin appearing male about 20
yeara old wearing 8 sportehirt and slacks who she had never
~seen before She said the man was looking through the books
and documents of the Order and appeared to be very interested
in this materiel_ She etated ske felt too baghful to introduce
herself to the new member and shortly after her grandmother
was talking to the man and called to her to come and meet him_
She went over and her grandmother introduced her to the man
whose name was SIRHAN SIRHAN She began talking to the man
and a sked him if he had 8 ghorter neme or 3 nickname and he
said

soie of the other membere and they 811 had trouble pronouncing
his name correc tly and this was one of the reasons she asked
