to 8uspect Sirian Sirhan and two other dark foreign-looking Males
who were present with Sirnan at the time of the ammunition purchase
on June 1, 1968.
On that June 16 _ 1968 , F . 3 , Ie Agents Eruce Bradford and Norbert
Linker showed Arnot (5) five photographs of Sirhan and hia (4) four
brothers . Arnot identified Sirnan 35 being the person that purchased
the aMIounition , and also selected a photograph of Shariff Sirilan ,
a3 "Bearing
2 strong resenblance to the inuividual that was present
{c wlth hin _ Arnot said that he Iould be unable to identify the third
person that was present in tie store on that day .
Prior to ingtrumental testing on 1he polygraph rnot 6a3 questioned
regarding the staterent given by hin Eo the F.BoI' on June 16

1968 .
fe aintained that ni: Orlginal gtory 23 given to the F.B.I, was
true to tne best of his recollection,
Arnot was shown a total of 17 look-alike photographs by Lta Kernandez.

A polygraph w23 obtained prior to the exanimation , which estab-
lished that patterng capeble Of interpretation could be abtained .
Responses wera provoked; This indicated that MI. Arrot would be
2 proper subject for polygraph testing.
During the couirse of the examination , physiological tracings at
polnts Wvhere cruclal questions were asked suggest very strongly
that Mx , Arnot Mas belng untruthful, He Was gpecifically asked
if he honesely remembered ,seeing eny Person with Sirilan inside
the Iock , Stock N ' Barrel Gun Shop On June 1 , 1968 , and hic
reaponses e€ thig salient point indicate ehat he does not ramamer
seelng anyone Wth Sirnan On that Further after carefully
evaluating tne examination charts , it is the opinion of this eraminer
that Lerry Arnot doez not in fact remember. Sirhan ar the buginess
trangactlon that cook place an June: 1 , 1968 when the aramunition was
purchaaed bY Sirhan
Larry Anoc was Inforned or tile results of the exanination and the
conclubions tat were arrived,
After 2 short period of Interzogation , Arnot ultimately adnitted
that the only logical explanatlon for hfs failing the test was
bacause he had lied
Ha explained that the truth ws that ne was confusing the gale of
armunikion io three other dark complextion ne3 , and ir nis mind
he was trying to convince hleself that this was the Sirnan incident.
However, he gala tnat he coulonrtruthfully remember Sirian baing in
the store on June;l, je know3 that ne sold Sirhan the anmunition
because of 2 3ale8 receipt Whlch ne made out, but he just cannot
retember Sirhan or the sale,
A3 to:the two men that ha had deacribed 23 being with sirhan
2
he
stated that he had prob been mlslead by Mrs Donna Harrick.
She had tola him that Sirnan and two other men had been In the stora
on 2 previous to June 1o rherefore ha had assuned that these
twO man coula have been With Sirnan On June 1
Again Arnot Wa3 reninded that he had no sound babis to forn this
