and his pafty departed and a short time later, heard a commo-
tion toward the rear f the room and heard someone say thet
Senator KENNEDY had been shot _ He etated that due to the
crowd he was unable to get back to the kitchen area and did
not see what happened He stated he did get back to the area
sometime later and saw the pe re On belleved to be SIRHAN SIRHAN
belng escorted away _ MC MAHON advised he observed nothing
during the time he was at the Hbaggadore: Hotel which he
thought might have any relation to the assassination_ He
advised the only person he can recall by name Who was in the
Embassy Room on that evening Wils CHARLES WHITE , a student at
St_ Meinrad College, who lives In Charleston, South Carolina _
He stated he believe8 WHITE 18 still attending St _ Meinrad
College .

seminar on hospital administration there were several other
convencions and political meetings being held

on June 5,

to g0 to Los Angeles had not been the result of any pre-

the headquarters of Senator KENNEDY and volunteered to work
campaigning or doing anything else that: he could assist- in
He was given assignments to work in the Los Angeles, community
campaign ing for KENNEDY which: he did until about I:oo on
June 4 1968, Thereafter he reported to the Ambassador
Hotel where he assisted, in arranging and decorating two ball-
rooms at which Mr KENNEDY was to appear The main ba lroon
was located on the Second floor Of the hotel which also houses
the ma in hotel lobby: A second ba llroom was located on the
next lower floor During the course of the afternoon Mr
COHEN had several occasions to. go into the kitchen area ad-
joining the ba Ilroom for the . purpose of obtaining streamers
and other supplies On these occasions he bas a' recdlection
of having seen 2 number of the hotel employees , who he des -
cribed as "Italian-Americans' and whom he believed to be kitchen
help, waiters and busboys_

Durin g the time he was in the hotel, Dr DENNIS said
he did not see SIRHAN BISHARA SIRHAN and had no previous
acquaintance with him_ He sid he had absolutely no information
of any sort of any possible con spiracy in the shooting of
Senator KENNEDY and had no more connection with the tragic
event than he would have had had he been home in Oklahoma
watching the proceedings 0n television
He stated he had no further information concerning
the event .

registered at the Ambassador Hotel, Ips Angeles , California,
on June 4 , 1938, howvever she and .her husband did not arrive
at tnat hotel on that date.
Ers _ DITMER explained that she and hex husband
were on & tour conducted by the Berry Tour Srvice, which
originated in Chicago, Illinois approziinat a week prior
to that date. They departed Chicago via train and visited
a number 0f places en route to San Francisco , California,
where arrived on June 1, 1968 _ Wh J2 en route Bcross
to Arizona , some difficulty arose in tne air conditioning
system which allowed a considerable amount of dust to enter
the train. Mr _ DIMER s an asthmatic and this effected him
congiderably. He required the attention of a doctor while
on the train and Was attended by a physician for tie three
days that he was in a hotel in San Francisco. Becaus e 0f
his condition, the remainder Of the tour Was cancelled and
Mrs _ DEIEr advised that she and her husband departed from
San Francisco, California, on June 3 , 1968, flying to
Pittsburgh , Pa. , and then returned to their hone in Fairmont ,
W Va.
Ming DIEMER advised tba: she and her husband knew
nothing &bout the happenings at the Ambassador Hotel on
June 5 , 1368 , ezcept what they have read in the newspapers
and heard on television.
