Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was a roommate of NANCY A, WIEBOLD,
Miss FARNR stated that she, too, is a student at the University
of Minnesota, and she, tco, dropped' out 0f school dur the
spring quarter in order to work on the campaign of Senator
EUGENE MC CARTHY_ Miss FARMER stated that when ROBERT F
KENNEDY announced his candidecy, she and her roommate left
the MC CARTHY group and went to work for Senator KENNEDY
Miss FARMER stated that she was in Los Angeles
approximately two weeks prior to the shooting of Senator
KENNEDY working as a stenographer for the KENNEDY force
Miss FARMER stated that a t the time of the Shooting she vas
outside the hotel with NANCY A0_ WIEBOLD helping to organize
a motorcade She stated that she did not hear the shots
and did not knom there had been a shooting until she Saw a
man helping another man in a car- At this point she
heard someone say: hurry get hin to the hospital; he has been
shot Miss FARMER stated that they did not know that Senator
KENNEDY had been shot until sometime later She:;stated that
the time She &er saw SIRHAN Be SIRHAN was when she saw
the police taking him out of the hotel Hiss FARMER stated
that she does not recall evej seeing SIRHAN Be' SIRHAN around

Executive Committee rushed up to the stage where Dr RAFFERTY
was Speaking and advised that Senator ROBERT F KENNEDY had
just been shot_ A cordon of people immediately formed around
Dr RAFFERTY and escorted him, via the stairs to a room
on one of the floors above He did not recall which room it
was They remained in this room until about 2 :30 or 2 ;45

Department to a two bedroom apartment located approximately
one and one-half blocks from the Ambassador Hotel They

JEA NFREA U continued that his plane landed in Los
Angeles on the evening of June 1968 and he estimates that
he and his companion arrived at the Ambassador Hotel

he and PA ILET registered at the hotel at the same time as
a prominent psychia trist whose name JEANFREA U does not reca ll ,
who was scheduled to be a guest speaker at a medica 1 convention
a t the Ambassador Hotel the following day .
JEANFREA U sa id that he and PAILET went up to their
rooms staying there only about 15 minutes

to depos it their luggage and freshen up. At a bout 9:15 Pe m . ,
they both left the hotel and went to a number of night spots
on the "Strip" in Los Angeles

until after Sena tor ROBERT F KENNEDY had been shot He
stated tha t he first learned of the shooting from a cab
driver with whom he was riding
JEANFREA U continued that since he had spent
about 15 minutes at the hotel prior to the assault on
Sena tor KENNEDY , he could furnish a bsolutely no information
regarding the matter JEANFREA U said that he later saw press
photographs of SIRHAN B, SIRHAN , but SIRHAN did not a ppear

result of that employment he was registered at the Ambassador
Hotel, Los Angeles, California, on June 4 , 1968.
Due to the very large crowd involved; while he
was present at the Ambassador Hotel, KAPENSTEIN during the
evening and night of June 4 , 1968, remained in his room at
the Ambassador and watched television programs covering the
speech that of ROBERT KENNEDY and events following the
speech
KAPENSTEIN 28 a result of his presence at the
hotel learned nothing which would have 3 bearing on the
assassination of Senator ROBERT KENNEDY He was in possession
of no information indicating a possible conspiracy, did not
know SIRHAN B_ SIRHAN and had no recollection of seeing him
around the above hotel on the night of June 4 , 1968.

on by one of the girls and at approxima 12:15 A.M;,.
on June 5, 1968 , a news bulletin wa S flashed over the
television 'screen stating that Senator: ROBERT- F KENNEDY
had been shot
